Raute Bar
Signature cocktails, champagne and rare spirits among walnut, brass and blue velvet.
Raute Bar
The Raute Bar is where the palais spends its evenings: a long walnut counter topped in brass, leather panels worked with the blue and white lozenges of Bavaria, blue velvet banquettes around marble-topped tables. The light is low and amber, the music discreet.
Behind the counter, the lit back-bar holds rare cognac, whisky and rum. Signature cocktails sit beside the great classics, made with care for the ice and the right glass; the list also offers champagne by the glass and by the bottle, Franconian wines and Bavarian beer.
In the afternoon, from 14:30 to 17:00, afternoon tea is served in the Salon, beside the fireplace. In the evening the bar opens at 17:00 and closes at one in the morning, at two on Fridays and Saturdays.

Signature cocktails
Seven house creations, from the Smoked Old Fashioned to the alcohol-free Garden Zero, alongside the great classics.
Champagne and rare spirits
Champagne by the glass and by the bottle; in the back-bar, whisky, cognac and rum to be sipped slowly.
Afternoon tea in the Salon
Every day from 14:30, beside the fireplace: sandwiches, scones and pastries on a three-tier stand.
Live music
On Thursday evenings, among the velvet banquettes, at a volume that lets conversation carry on.
The back-bar
Behind the counter, glass shelves lit in amber hold rows of crystal decanters and rare bottles, with a brass rolling ladder for the upper racks. Here rest the aged whiskies, cognacs and rums, served neat in small glasses and recommended by the bartender according to the taste of the guest.

Banquettes in velvet
Along the dark wood panelling, blue velvet banquettes curve around marble-topped tables with small candles. Brass floor lamps, a gilded mirror, low light: the corner for long conversations and drinks taken without hurry, on Thursday evenings too, when there is live music.

Tea in the Salon
From 14:30 to 17:00 the Salon, with its fireplace and piano, hosts afternoon tea. A three-tier stand brings finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and petits fours, beside a porcelain teapot; a glass of champagne can be added.
